Well said BD, how on earth any R&DFC fan could part with a single penny knowing full well it was going his way is beyond me.
Well said.

Perhaps the AFC Diamonds marketing group could commission an AFC Diamonds "overlay" that people could buy to cover up his company name on last season's replica shirts to avoid giving that any publicity either.

That's a fair point, but if it means spending £10 -15 to make £75 - 100 (or more) then it's good business / income for our new club and we should consider it a valuable source of income for now. It's also a good opportunity to market our club on what is now the very doorstep of our rivals, in what people will still consider our backyard for now. I'm told by a friend who goes regularly that trade has dropped off at the carboot sales in recent weeks, so it's worth monitoring.

Fair point ToD but I just can't face being around NP; too hurt, too bitter....

I wonder if business has dropped off because people are assuming that they're not on following the demise of our beloved Club?

I can understand the frustration felt by many on here that the revenue for the stalls and carpark does in fact line the pockets of a "not too popluar" person...............however....and abuse me all you like

....many of the stall holders are there to make a living or in the case of quite a few make some money to get through some hard times. A lot of these good folk were never interested in making money for the Club but putting a little extra cash in to their own pockets which in the case of some was greatly needed.
Stall holders go to Nene Park (cannot call it Diamonds anymore) ) because it has a great venue, great reputation and attracts many and there is good money to be had.

I personally feel it is a little unfair to critiscise anyone for selling or attending although I do understand you are allowed your opinions...maybe some of this anger and frustration would be better spent on positive movements for the new AFC Club????
