They were always the wrong way around on the old badge. They should be facing up, as on St. Peter's Church signboard in Irthlingborough.
I'll leave it to our Fans Chaplain to explain why. ;)
A river runs through it...!
Rushden, Irthlingbro and Raunds are all in the Nene Valley and the river pulls us all together - should be in the badge as it was in the original.
