thanks for the commentary lads. We seem to have got a bit complacent in the second half so I hope we don't throw the points away.

Oadby won 3-0 against Olney and Sileby lost 2-0 at Rothwell Corinthians, though unfortunately that was in the junior cup

First half we played really well and looked more like ourselves. Second half we took our foot off the gas slightly and allowed Chenecks to create a few chances but in the end we were full value for the win - I think 3/4-0 would have been a fairer reflection. Chenecks were really poor which surprised me given their result in midweek. They were also very physical and it's not hard to see why they've got a poor disciplinary record.
I thought our subs all made an impact when they came on, and King was making the sort of forward runs we've been lacking from central midfield. Nice to see Dev back too, thought he looked a bit fitter than he did previously actually although he did come on against tired legs. I was astounded that Okechukwu started after Tuesday night.
All we can do is win our games and hope somebody slips up. It didn't happen this weekend and it's not going to happen next weekend either as Sileby and Oadby face Burton and Wootton respectively.
As for the attendance, I can't believe that there was more there today than there was on tuesday night.

Believe it, I verified the count.
Another win, another clean sheet, more goals at Raunds would be nice but as long as we win I don't mind.

Great 3 points and thats what matters, it builds confidence and keeps us in touch, there's a lot of football to be played yet.

A much better performance from the lads, was only ever one team in the game IMO.
