Glad we got the win in the end, thought it was going to be one of those nights..

Did think Olney had a very good defence, and Wiz in particular changed the game when he came on I thought.

Hope that guy will be OK.

The gentleman taken ill last night is now recovering at home, none the worse for his collapse. I'll be sure to pass on all your good wishes,

If you watch him, and just spend five minutes purely watching him then you may form a different opinion as you won't see great lung busting runs or last ditch tackles as he reads the game well and very rarely gives the ball away.
Sorry, I wasn't saying Brad Harris had a particularly bad game or isn't good enough. I appreciate what he does and his abilities, I just don't think a player like that is required against teams like Burton and Olney, teams that on the whole aren't going to cause us any real problems defensively. He might be more useful against the likes of Sileby, Oadby and Eynesbury.
Having watched him more closely last night, i am of the same opinion. He collects the ball well and plays the simple passes. The way he operates is to slow the game down, which like said, could work well against the top sides.

Brad Harris is your typical Steve "square ball" Stott player. Doesn't do anything too fancy, but works away in midfield tirelessly. I thought Kingy had a great game as well. Just one moan, why do we always want to blast our 25 yard free kicks into the back of beyond, when there's a clutch of players all ready to attack the danger area between the penalty spot & six yard box? Play the percentages guys, something to work on in training I reckon.

I quite agree with your frustration about the free kicks. We seem to have a competition going to see who can put the most free kicks over the bar - Newman and Taylor both blazed over last night, and Hope and Gearing have also skied kicks in recent games. I thought Newman's effort was headed to the Nene. Alfie's corners got progressively worse last night too, but I was glad to see we then handed over corner taking duties to King, Brown and Gearing.

2 of the best free-kick takers at the club.. Jake Gillingwater and Elliot Dent.

Both unavailable last night. Denty's just posted a picture of his bruised foot on twitter. Doesn't look good!
