Well they have, Rob. ;)

Oh behalf of the ladies team I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us. We are overwhelmed with it all and absolutely gutted with the result tonight. Tough one to take. But the focus is now on winning the league.

Unbelievable attendance for the Ladies tonight. Pretty much all the UCL Premier clubs would kill for that attendance. I wonder when a ladies game in our county last had a gate to match that?

If I'm honest you would be lucky to find any match in our league getting over 20. I am amazed at the attendance tonight!

Returning to topc though, well done to the girls tonight, and to those who could make it! Splendid effort all round,

The whole team should be proud of themselves this morning.

A big thanks to everyone who made the game at the D&D happen and to the management, players and supporters who turned out. Hopefully you'll come and see them again.

Well done to Roade on their win.

But most importantly thanks to the girls for representing the club so well.

I'll endorse that. The attendance for the ladies match makes the 91 that turned up last evening to watch the Oadby Town/Rothwell Corinthians fixture look somewhat lame.

I can only echo what everyone else has said, great performance by the ladies last night, and as our senior side have seen, goals change games !! Had the penalty been scored who knows, but thats football. They can be rightly proud of their performance last night and when they lift the league title as I fully expect them to do shortly, I'll hopefully be there to see it.

187 is a great turnout, well done to everyone, Chas and myself counted you all so we know the figure is accurate and not a guesstimate - fantastic effort, the ladies deserved that !!

My guestimate of 174 wasn't too far out.
