With Phil Gulliver in the side and Gary Setchell as manager

Not sure what the management was doing tonight it was obvious that formation was not working and left it too late to change it, as soon as we did it was like a different team.
Stick to what you and the players know us what I say

Starms chaged it to 4-5-1 for the last 20 on Saturday and if you listen back to his post match interview at Potton, it was obvious he was going to go with it tonight. It worked for some players, i.e. Brad Harris, but didn't suit McBride or Wiz. Too late to change the formation at this stage in the season unless it's forced

I'm not sure whether changing the formation was a particularly wise move with two games remaining and 4 points required. I was even more surprised we continued with it beyond half-time.
It didn't work for a whole host of reasons. Jake was isolated, Harris and McBride were attempting to do the same job and the wingers weren't involved at all. Whitworths were able to throw more men forward than they ordinarily might have done because we were so deep and they probably matched us in the first-half if we're honest. Different story when Lance came on and we changed back to 4-4-2.
On the other hand we did what was required which was the main thing and credit to the players for coping with the nervy atmosphere (particularly at 2-1). Great attendance also.
All on Saturday now. 11 huge performances required.

Unbeaten at home all season (mickey mouse cups don't count) and provided we score on Saturday we've scored in every one of our senior games this season, a super season, now lets finish it off properly

If Starms tries that again on Saturday then bugger me it's going to be tense! 4-4-2! The players are all used to it, don't piss about now!
As for the game, we should maybe employ Sam as a striker, he's red hot at the moment! Definitely a penalty for the 2nd, one of the things I noticed about Whitworth was that they hunted in packs to regain possession, not sure they could keep that up all game though! It helped them massively that trying to pass on that pitch was extremely difficult.
The 3rd was my favourite goal, a mishit from King to set up a mishit from Wiz! Good goal from Ben as well, lovely finish. As soon as Lance came on I felt we looked much better, he always impresses me and I think he should start on Saturday.
Everyone says he's an impact player, well I say let's make an impact in the first 25 minutes and get a couple of goals early doors. Start Lance, as soon as he came on he was involved with the best bit of football all night, a sharp passing move that nearly resulted in a goal.
God knows how they no.5 wasn't at least booked for swearing at the officials, he was at it all game.
Roll on Saturday, please please please can it just be a nice, assured performance! These next 85 hours are going to go sooooo slowly!

Chant of the night from the PDB
'You've come a Short way for nothing, You've come a Short way for nothing'.
Classic.

Quickest he moved was off the field on the final whistle. He was in the changing room before the ref had finished blowing his whistle

Another superb game last night...Looking at the attendance before kick off it looked very deceiving. Didn't think there was that many but well done everyone who made it. Wasn't the warmest of April evenings
Everyone has a reasonably good game, Sam Brown once again who showed he is exceptional. Was slightly nervous after they scored, it showed they were sharper especially their number 10.
I am so looking forward to Saturday, think its vital we get the first goal as there might be a few nerves around...Hopefully the weather will be kind and we can have a warm day... 1 more game and i'm buzzing!!!!
The Brad Harris song was muffled at Potton and I couldn't hear what was being said but I caught on to the chant last night, genius
