But they are losing 3-0
There won't be that attendance next game ;)
And Corby lost 6-0 as well, it amazes me how even after relegation those 2 are still completely shite

Our next FA Cup opponents lost 3-1 at home tonight as well. And it looks like either Hadley or Cockfosters in the 1st Qualifying round if we get there.

great win, Dent was my man of match, Gearing played well and his first goal was quality and think every player played well they all played their part tonight.

Tonight was a very different game from Saturday, at home, better conditions etc

We were a linesmans decision away from going out at the weekend, maybe we'll look back on that moment in a few months time when we're playing Luton in the 4th Qual Round. ;)

Elliot Dent my MOM I thought he was outstanding, but in reality there were exceptional performances all over the park. Great stuff.
Agree with all of this. I am trying to remember a better performance by AFC, absolutely dominated against a bunch of kickers, who might play better without a ranting thug for a manager.
A real team result and a good team spirit throughout.
Dunks excellent, Dent outstanding, Gearing worked hard for the goals and everyone else played really well.

Our possible opponents in Ist Qual round Cockfosters and Hanley both won their replays 1-0 away from home tonight.

Chris Plummer resigned as manager of Corby after they were spanked for the second time in four days. Pay Rayment and Chris Hope are amongst the names being mentioned on Twitter by Corby fans.

Its all been said before in this thread, but we were immense tonight, so different from Saturday.

The shape was there, the drive was there - Deaksy in at the back made Jamal so much stronger, Elliott in midfield gave us an attacking option missing on Saturday, Dunks upfront was a real handful - I could go on and on, there wasn't a single player out there who had a bad game and when it comes together like that the result is not just goals, but a frugal defence - well done guys, you can be very proud of your individual and collective performances.

Couple of things I'd like to pick up on - I see people questioning team selection earlier in the thread - well I think Starms answered any critics emphatically. As fans we don't always see why a manager selects the team that he does, we're not always in receipt of all the facts - we really should have more faith, a team is picked by the manager for a reason, he stands or falls on his decisions and on results ultimately - so well done on your selections tonight Mark, spot on !! Hopefully people won't be so quick to question when one or two players aren't selected. We have an excellent squad of players and all can be called upon, and relied upon, to deliver the goods when asked.

I also wanted to say well done to the "team" who pulled the match day programme together at such short notice, I've just sat and read mine and it truly is first rate - 10/10 guys n gals, another example of just how "professional" our club is !!

Finally, a massive thanks goes out to David Hales tonight, we had a little hiccup with the floodlights at half time (as you probably saw) but David was on hand to solve the problem - a mahoosive thank you David :D

I'm buzzing about tonight, the Plops lost as well to cap a wonderful evening ;)

I'm going to miss the next two games (maybe 3 unless I can sort something out for the Northwood game) so I'm hoping for 6 more points and a win in the FA Cup before I see us again - fingers crossed !!

11 more performances like tonight and we play at Wembley........okay, getting carried away now, but winning is a habit and I can't wait to see us take a performance like tonight into a league game - we will spank someone soon (should have been Sileby last week), but someone will get done by double figures by us soon, I kid you not !! :D

I drove home buzzing from what I had witnessed. From the moment we kicked off each player was on his game and it was clear that collectively they realised that they hadn't done themselves justice in the first match and as already been pointed out we were a linos decision away from going out. A great night, decent crowd bearing in mind there were probably only about 5 away fans there and goals galore and not for one minute did we sit back even after going 3-0 up with the tie effectively over.
I'm glad we played last night quickly after Saturday's inept performance and £1500 prize money won is not too shabby either.

Only downside was I didn't have time for beer with my stewarding duties and these damn silly FA Cup rules. :x

There were at least twenty who made the trip up. A long way to go for a result like that

That's probably the best I've seen us play. We kept the tempo high and got the ball down and played, unlike Saturday.

We certainly looked a lot better with Deaks there, his covering and organisation showing through. I thought Joe was almost back to his best as well. And Elliott showed what missed all the while he's been injured.

Some cracking moves for the goals, although we should have had two before Alfie's goal.
