I've just got Elgin into Europe after 7 seasons. Came 5th in my first season in the SPL.

One of my players has scored 130 goals, although he is a fakey. I signed him as a 16-year-old in my Second season.

Couple of real players to look out for. Paul Stretton from Dungannon Swifts is available for next to nothing and is now (after 7 seasons) truely top class. Also Lewis Davidson from Aberdeen, he has been an ever present in my side from SD3 to the SPL.

I play with two mates in a league.

At the moment we're in the BSP. You all have be online and connected (via Hamachi) and you play together staying at the same time - one player can't steam ahead. You can set continue rates, so like if 2/3 users have continued the other person has 30seconds etc.

Its so much better than standard offline for me personally!

Dave, can you make suggestions to them about the game itself, only this years game has got a couple of stupid features.

I can try, they might not take any notice of me though! ;) I think there is a forum at sigames.com for those sort of suggestions, and SI are usually pretty good at taking on board feedback from the people who play their games.

What particular features do you find stupid?

Well 'stupid' might be a bit of an exaggeration, but there are some annoying features.

Primarily, when you look on a players history it only shows league data and not league and cup combined which i find frustrating because (especially when you are in a lot of cups) it isn't a true reflection. I know if you click on it you can see it but it would be easier if you could just see it. (Written that all wrong ;) )

There are other too but i've forgotten them so they cant be that important!

No England C team although i'd hardly say that was a necessity.

I can answer your first query myself. The reason no cup stats are shown on a player's in game history is for continuity reasons; past real life cup games are omitted because they would vastly increase the database size causing the game to run slower, so they only show league games on players' history pages. SI have considered adding past cup appearance histories, but the negative impact on the speed of the game is too great - plus it would mean a huge amount of extra work for the likes of me! ;)

I think the England C issue has been mentioned before, but like you say, adding it would bring little to the game and would probably present a programming headache.

Corby Town, try and match my achievement of premiership in 17 seasons ;)
