I loved collecting them and would pay good money again to see a review of this season - I understand cost was an issue, what with copyright issues etc - but I'd dearly love to part with some of my hard earned cash for that !!
Now that i do! agree with, I would buy the dvd, in fact i want a dvd!. lets hope they sort it out.
Whatever happens from now until the end of the season i think it is a must that we have an end of season DVD if at all possible. With the amount of goals and high scoring games i would imagine that they would go like hot cakes! I would happily pay over the odds to get hold of one

I think the plan was to provide highlights for the remaining home games.
Is there any plan to attempt to back catalouge some of the clubs older match video highlights onto there? (earlier this season, last season, maybe some memorable ones from previous years which the video/DVD's might be floating around the clubs offices etc)

Also what is the state of play with regards to away highlights? I presume it varies club to club, but is the plan for them to go up when available or just left to the home sides disrcetion?

That has surprised me, although i presume there not individual people, I hope i'm not a bad person in your eyes Formic, it has created quite an impressive debate, and i do genuinely hope that people use diamond player as the quality is a lot better and the interviews and videos are frequent and detailed.

I'm just thinking of the bigger picture - I think Youtube is ideal for making things accessible that aren't otherwise available, and I agree with you that the majority of those who view the content on there or on Player probably won't subscribe - and there are far more significant copyright infringements on Youtube than this.

The debate has been good - and the old saying of "no such thing as bad publicity" applies - hopefully a few will have seen these highlights and go looking for Oxford / Crawley / Ebbsfleet / Luton highlights - wherever they may get hosted.

.. and no, I don't think you are a bad person. ;) ;)

It's been looked at currently and yes the plan is to provide highlights of the remaining games this season if possible, away game highlights though is an unknown really.

I don't think there is anything in the Archive as yet - it used to hold the videos from our league days when we had the DiamondWorld, but when they changed formats to use Flash rather than Windows Media we seemed to lose them (as well as the ability to download and save them).

Thanks Formic - that probably means the first game to be in the archive will be the Gateshead match - unless past games can be added from before later - if that makes sense..?

I think Stevenage will be the first.
Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building.
