Can see why some of you disagree about Lorraine, but if we buy two new strikers, and have Dunkley and Joseph on the bench already, something has to give.

The Ashton verdict is in the context of wanting to bring in Darren Purse to the starting XI.
Dear god.

You have no idea of the week in, week out performance of players, the highlights reels don't show all the exceptional work our players do, and you don't see every performance of every player. Ashton a squad player?! What are you on?!

Why are you so insistent on Dunkley remaining at the club? Turner and Lorraine have scored more goals than Dunkley, Joseph has scored the same as Dunkley. I dont think you appreciate Berwick as much as he should be, how his off the ball movement and work rate is incredible and how with a proper pre-season he'll be one of our best strikers next year.

Why do you want Darren Purse here? At 37, yes he's a good player, but not one for the future, Ashton is. What if Purse doesn't want to play here? What if he retires?

Its a good job you're not the manager

It depends in what league we in, if we in the Southern Central then I can't see why can't be challenging for a top 5 spot, where as if we in the Northern South, I'll be happy with a top half finish will all the extra travelling costs etc.
Predicting a top 5 finish in the first season is hardly going to create our club a good name! Surely it's better to go in open minded and compete without putting noses out of joint first..

Don't get me wrong I'll be happy with a top half finish in the Southern Central league, :D don't get me wrong, I'll be happy with a top half finish. :D

I don't want to sound rude but I can just see us doing better than a top half finish. I'm just being honest.

I want Purse, Dolman and Ashton all at AFCRD next year. Three class CBs.

Discarded the shovel for digging & returned with a JCB.
Anyway Andy Peaks is not The Messiah he's just a very naughty Boy.
Darren Purse was signed for a Cup semi when Jack was not available and I'm sure if required could play again this season, but my contacts inform me he would only consider playing every week if it's alongside Hopey with Skippy in front & DC up top, that's Darren Collins before you fetch your boots & pads Haribo King.

Someone post the facepalm thing again. You do realise that 95%, if not more, of the club's in the SLD1C will have run at a loss this season, probably including K*ttering, who get good gates. Each club might only get 150 fans but their spending power is greater than that because they won't be sticking to a sustainable budget. That means our spending power won't be as great in comparison. I can't believe any fan would want to risk financial problems only four years after seeing the original club go under.

I also wanted to add, that I see your point, I see your point, the Southern Central league is a tough league (and I'll be happy with a top half finish) but can see us doing better than that, (not necessary a top 5 finish, maybe outside like 7th, 8th) but challenging it. Again I don't want to sound rude but just being truthful and honest.
