So a board member has just been given the job by his fellow board members with no experience at this level, no real management history and based on one game on Tuesday night. I will not attend anymore and will be cancelling my team building lottery in the morning. An absolute joke. If you can not see the issues here then God help us.

And considering the content of my post your only comment/objection is that I should cancel my forum membership. So I’m guessing you agree with the detail of what I have put.

Honestly cannot get my head around the board decision (Guessing not all of them) If burge appointment wasn't a gamble (not knowing the level) then this is just plain stupidity!! A guy with Northants combo experience (Soz im also led to believe he took sargents to Div 2 of Rushden & District Sunday league/pub league many years ago) it's just highlights that some of the board are clearly making no attempt to try and stay up!!! Yes u23 play some tidy football,a young energetic team playing against PARK FOOTBALLERS who enjoy a lambert & butler at half time!! Honestly it's embarrassing!

Does anyone actually question why some volunteers or staff members leave. Goalkeeper coach (Nathan) a good example of this. 10 years loyal service he's given the club & announced himself on Saturday he's leaving, love to know why!! I could be wrong but haven't see anything official from the club thanking him for his time & effort for all those years service like they did for rosin the physio and rightly so......

I'm no glory hunter,39 years following Rushden Town,RDFC & now afcrd hone & away but can't except this crazy decision so won't be returning to hayden Rd until someone in & around the level or has some experience is appointed.

Replaced by a guy with no managerial experience. Good coaches can become good managers just give them the opportunity or be like the Premiership and just recycle failures.
