Re: Desperate measures.....
Can you imagine that if they are reprieved and find themself in the SL Division 1 they can look forward to playing and getting thrashed by the likes of St Ives Town next season. Unbelievable Jeff!

Re: Desperate measures.....
What a load of rubbish if that's the case, just end it ffs, the whole saga was funny for a while but its got to the point where it annoys me that this farce is being allowed to continue after all that's happened and all the people they've fucked with. For the millionth time, what long term future does that club have, the poppynet morons keep going on with all this getting ktfc back to K*ttering nonsense, yet its never gonna happen, they'd be far better off going to kfc instead but they'll never let all the 'glorious 140 year history' go will they

I know I can't help but feel all this is such a waste of time just to hang onto the ktfc name.Trek wrote:Can you imagine that if they are reprieved and find themself in the SL Division 1 they can look forward to playing and getting thrashed by the likes of St Ives Town next season. Re: Desperate measures.....
You have the likes of Barwell preparing for a match on Saturday, having to compile and print a programme and other pre-match expenses for a fixture that clearly won't go ahead irrespective of today's decision. How are these clubs going to get recompensed for their costs if the SL allow this farce to continue?

K*ttering Town - Board Statement
‘The Board is pleased to announce that K*ttering Town FC has satisfied all the conditions placed on it by the League within the time frame set and, as a consequence, the registrations/transfer embargo has been lifted with effect from today, 1 November 2012. However, the Directors believe that it would be unrealistic for the Club to be in a position to sign sufficient players in time to field a team for this coming Saturday’s fixture at Barwell and, therefore, has reluctantly decided that the match be postponed. It is also recognised by the Board that the Club still has several other issues in need of urgent attention, not least the power supply to Nene Park, and will be closely monitoring its progress in the hope that all matters can be satisfactorily and speedily settled to enable the Club to retain its place in the League and complete all of its scheduled fixtures for the current season. The Board, nevertheless, is mindful of its responsibility to all of the League’s Member Clubs and, while wishing to be as helpful as possible to any Club experiencing difficulties of any kind, must ultimately make decisions that are within the bounds of League Rules.’

Err, how can they play, the CVA hasn't been paid, theres no electric, er, what morons run the Southern league board
On second reading it does read like, the last last last last chance, before they throw them out.

I'll be amazed if they're able to fulfil a home fixture in a week's time. A winding-up order will be the only way they go, because the Southern League don't seem to be doing anything. I'd imagine one of those must be coming soon...

Well there you go my cynical side wins again, no chance they would be thrown out all they needed was the players to sign a payment plan (under emotional blackmail of you will be club killers if you don't) and it carry on regardless.
Err, how can they play, the CVA hasn't been paid, theres no electric
As i said before the Southern League do not care about the money owed to non football people.
The Electric problem will concern them as they will want the game to go ahead next Saturday but the so called day of completion is next Friday not a lot of time to pay the leccy and get it back on in time.

Re: Desperate measures.....
I now see why the conference board are so ruthless when it comes things like this, as the Southern league now look like complete bunch of amateurs (most likely are though
), and have come out of this looking bad.
I dont see how them lifting an embrgo helps matters, there still going bust, they are still going to be relegated, whats the point of keeping them in there ?

Re: Desperate measures.....
Well the CVA is well overdue and no sign of any action fron Carter Clark, no surprise really as they are in the back pocket of Sadact and Rolls, so unless a individual creditor takes direct action instead of hoping then the farce just continues.Sara Pascoe wrote:I'll be amazed if they're able to fulfil a home fixture in a week's time.
