If you don't have eleven players able to play a game then you should have to forfeit the game, simple as.
Completely agree, in fifa if you can't field a full squad, you automatically lose that game 3-0, should be the same in the real world ;)
But seriously, it does seem ridiculous how lenient and accomodating the SL is being with them in regards to the postponed matches, I know they've already been punished with a 10 point deduction and there may not be much point in rubbing salt in the wounds, but it makes absolutely no sense to me how they're getting away with not being able to play these games, especially when you consider the Leamington situation, having things like programmes printed, only for the game to be called off at short notice and probably being a finacial blow, should be a further points deduction (however pointless that may be) at the very least!
And I find it interesting how Wellingborough's next 2 games are us and then K*ttering in the hillier cup, if they do manage to play that game, I imagine the game against us will be a much tougher one than the K*ttering one, despite us being in UCL Div 1, which also raises the point of how weak will their hastily put together squad be if they do manage to carry on, they'll be lucky to win another game this season if they can complete it.

On the plus side - having a sweep on how many goals they'll ship each match could provide some entertainment.
I'm going for 23 every match between now and when they eventually go tits up (shortly after it's discovered that the potential investors are a cat lady and a man with a house full of rubbish).
There again, three cats and an Asda trolley full of rotting leftovers is probably a pretty good price for KTFC right now.

It really is sad to see some of the comments on Ploppynet and that other site they have. They really believe that they will carry on as normal, they think that no one will notice what a shit state they are in, and some one with more money than sense is going to put thousands of pounds into a club that has, no ground with electricity, and a club with no players..................I think that "Monkey Boy" must now ne in charge? 8-)

Not the famous "Monkey Boy", probably in a secure unit by now. Great night that was winding him up

Sadly this fiasco hasnt just ended my interest in K*ttering town fc its rapidly ending my interest in football. If clubs can operate as they wish then what hope for clubs that are trading honestly? f***IN f word embarrassing. Sorry .

Agreed, this will only damage the growth of KFC, just when it needs all their fans to get behind it.
It just shows how stupid the SL are 8-)

SL should have probably thrown them out but no league wants to lose a team mid season so if there's even a small chance they will survive they may get a bit of a reprieve. I don't blame the league for that - yet.

In business terms - portsmouth , rangers , K*ttering town and several others would be finished. IMO rightly so. Now i hate Rangers with an absolute passion (spot celtic leanings ;) and loved ktfc. But wrong has to be punished regardless of anyones passion.Theyve all got away with it and have chance to recover. IMO football is getting harder to take seriously. There is little in the way of morals and respect and the football authorities dont seem to use/have any authourity. Last few days im wondering what the point is. If you cant compete with some degree of fairness across the board then im starting to think there are more constructive ways to spend saturday afternoons. sorry rant over.

Great post Paul. I think most of us agree with feelings.
