Jackson has played in first two games for his new club, they were promoted last season to the Bundesliga. They lost first game 0-1 and 1-2 yesterday against Dortmund, their only goal was an OG.

I don't suppose he expected to play in front of 80000!!

Mark Peters takes over as caretaker manager at Corby Town.

The Corby Chairman has lost the plot if he is quoting Forrest Gump. :(

League One Peterborough United reject a transfer request from striker 24-year-old striker Lee Tomlin.

Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony responds on Twitter: Obviously L Tomlin's agent has been speaking to the press as all classy agents like him do. He is not for sale & any transfer request is turned down. That's all I'll say on the Tomlin matter except to say I'm looking forward to seeing him helping our squad challenge for title this season.
Wonder if Celtic's bid today was for Tommo? He was subbed at Half Time.

10 Tomlin (Swanson - 46' )

Per Darren Ferguson - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23831009

"I can confirm that Celtic have made a bid on the day of a game, three times. In fact they made one bid during the game. It completely unsettled my player, but if that's how they do their business then so be it.
"As I said, it completely unsettled my player, clearly from his performance, but he isn't for sale so they can bid as much as they want, he isn't going."

Isn't it a bit weird for a player to find anything out at half-time of a game? I.E at half-time shouldn't they all be focused on the game, rather than checking their phones / getting messages from their agents?

Keith Cousins wouldn't mind Tomlin going for a few million!

Would KC benefit in any way though? He'd passed ownership of the club over to a couple of clowns hadn't he? ;)
