I thought he'd push on at Tamworth but he never did it seems. I really liked him though, really powerful and pacey. Feel sorry for him now though...

Sign him up board! We could play 2-3-5, Jack-Alfie-Morgan-Newman-Shariff up-front. :D

He was awesome in 2011, great goals v Wrexham and Gateshead.
I agree, he looked very good before RDFC's demise.

Now don't get me wrong, I wish them no success on the field whatsoever - but I have some grudging respect for the way Doyle has gone about his job these past few weeks and even though the team are obviously far from a decent side, you have to give them some credit, they have kind of been thrown together and are on the whole quite young.

Looks like they could be on the wrong end of a drubbing tonight and a long drive home after only arriving about 45 minutes before a delayed 8pm ko tonight - 2-0 down with that kind of preparation isn't too bad for them to be fair.

I still dislike the club with a passion and by all things decent they should have been wound up by now, they're plying their trade with an unfair business advantage (as in, don't pay your bills like your competitors do but carrying on trading regardless), but I have got a bit of respect for the way the playing and management team have gone about their business.

7 hours on a coach to get there so, 7-0 tonight would be sweet ;)

Lost 4-0 tonight. They're gone. Poor old Nabil and Lewis - what are you doing!!!

Finished 4-0, they're now 20 (TWENTY) points from safety. Poor Nabil, he could do better than them.

So that's exactly a third of the season gone, and they've managed to earn 5 points. I notice they've got several long-distance away trips in the next few weeks too, so their fans will have to dig deep to fund them. I was impressed how many of their fans turned up last Sunday, but they are clearly being taken advantage of.

I don't see who's gaining an advantage out of their last three weeks, apart from Corby?

Never thought this thread would get anywhere near 500 pages but it looks very much like it will now, the end has been in sight for them for months now, yet they're still here and I do respect the people like Doyle and Samuel and Jeune for keeping them going, but for what, for them just to limp on and lose every game for the rest of the season with seemingly nothing going on regarding a takeover and the securing of a long term future :?

It really is a shambles of a situation and while I realise they're the proper hardcore and loyal fans/staff, anyone who went all the way to Devon on a Tuesday night in the middle of November for them to get stuffed 4-0 must be wondering on their long journey home tonight, is it really worth putting up with it any longer?

As you say it is commendable HOWEVER, there is still a situation unresolved, and that is their CVA.
Any other business would have been shut down by now, yet the Southern league are literally condoning their non payment to innocent parties,(OK not Rolls) that supplied goods and services in good faith
