as we all know, give the opposition a nice stadium and a wide pitch, they'll try and beat you.

2290 at Steel Park tonight to watch reserves/youth teamers play Rangers in a friendly match. That's a bigger attendance than any Cuckoos game at Nene Park this season and the progress that the Steelmen are making must be a worry to Ladick. ;)

What was the score out of interest?

6-0 to Rangers who had Weir, Broadfoot, Fleck and a few others with first team experience whereas Corby didn't play one player who will start against Bristol Rovers. Of regular first teamers only Towers played in the second half since he's suspended for Saturday's game.

I fancy Corby to force a reply against Rovers or possibly even snatch a win.

Tonight's match had been arranged for some time and Drury said he wished it wasn't being played because of Saturday's match but it was a chance for some fringe players/youth to play but they clearly hadn't played together and that's the problem when you don't have a reserve team playing every week.
I also fancy they could get something at Bristol since they have the best defence in the league conceeding only 12 goals in league games. Rovers can expect a tough match and they are apparently aware of it.

Let's be honest, one of the big two from Scotland is always going to attract a few in Corby ;)

Of course, and that's why this match was arranged a few months back. If Rangers had played their tea ladies and stewards they would still have attracted a decent crowd.
I enjoyed the Grampian Piped marching band. :D

They should have been awarded a televised match, potential upset
