Not if they go bust no, and the other team KFC have not applied so unlikely.
Re: Desperate measures.....
I was going to put something on here about the lack of activity at Latimer Park. Apart from dropping off an old tunnel canopy and 2 old portakabins, nothing seems to have been done there.
The portakabins looked unused with one containing junk and the other with old window frames lying on the floor.
Nothing had been done with the floodlights, fencing or walkways and there was no sign of any materials on-site to do the work.

Quite strange to witness the atmosphere at another UCL game last evening and very different to when visited Latimer Park a couple of months ago. Crowd made up by a few hardy souls from Oadby, probably close on 10 AFCRD fans, Glenn Botterill on a scouting mission ;) and not many BPW fans. Bar was pretty empty pre-match and you really see why many Division 1 clubs don't want us to get promoted this year. We are their cash cow.
If the Ploppies do survive and play there next season in whatever league the added income will be a god send to BPW in much the same way that Wellingborough Town are gaining a financial benefit from the ground share arrangement at the Dog n' Duck.

Juene is a mug if he keeps paying these bills. He's just throwing money down the drain.

I'm no expert, but I don't think BPW will gain in any great way like Welly have. They themselves are only tenants at Latimer Park, so I assume any rent paid will be straight to the landlord. Not sure about the clubhouse , but I've heard people refer to drinking "Bo's beer", so perhaps some or all of the profit goes there too :?:Trek wrote:Quite strange to witness the atmosphere at another UCL game last evening and very different to when visited Latimer Park a couple of months ago. Re: Desperate measures.....
Surely there won't be additional rent payable to the landlord, more a question that the existing rent will be split 50/50 between the two clubs. Why else would BPW consent to the ground share? There's got to be something in it for them. Same with the running costs, rates, gas, electricity, pitch maintenance, insurance costs split 50/50.Sid wrote: They themselves are only tenants at Latimer Park, so I assume any rent paid will be straight to the landlord.:

I know Bo has had no role at BPW for years, but he owns the ground doesn't he?
