Yes their keeper was injured but we took the defence apart before putting the ball in the net. our front players were just too quick and skillful for a static defence.
Another great performance like Tuesday night, hope we can keep this going for the K game as I can see us running them ragged.
Anyone know why Huke wasn't in today's line-up?

Thanks for that - is it serious?

I like Huke, after seeing his dodgy appearnce at K*ttering away last season, he has really come on - another of JE's clever signings.

Man do I regret going to bed. :D

That's a nice little home record we've got going there. Now if we can start picking up things away we might be onto something.

I genuinely think that this team could be better than last years, but our fortunes rest soley with Howe and Green, and whether we keep them until the end of the season.

I think Green and Tomlin are very similar. Green won't get as many goals as Tomlin but he's just as much of a threat. As for Howe, we didnt have a player like him last season, someone you can rely on for a goal every other game. If we can sort our away form out i'll be very optimistic.

 I thought we'd signed Howe permanently. Obviously not. :(

Loan till January i belive

Green was only on a short term loan though wasn't he same as simmonds ?

In Green and Charles we have got some players that can deliver decent crosses which has completly changed how we have played this season.
BBC website have a match report 'Grimsby destroyed by Green'

Simmonds isn't on loan, he is ours, but as you say on a short term contract.

Green is on loan initially for a month, but i heard somewhere, possibly on the radio, that we have an option to extend it until January. I hope thats the case anyway!

Yes your right we have an option to extend his contract, only if he wants to stay of course.
