I'm going to be greedy and say all those games should be winnable. This side needs to wake up to how good it can be, if only it believed in itself. Play-off race? I still think we can win this league, no one's standing out.Sara Pascoe wrote:FT.
Now let's push on:
York H = 3pts
FGR A = 3pts
Cambridge H = 1pt
Hayes A = 3pts
Eastbourne H = 3pts.
Let's impose ourselves on this play-off race.

Very much a game of 2 halves - first half we just looked disjointed and all over the place, but fair play Justin changed it early 2nd half, and we then took the game to Fleetwood, and had quite a few reasonable chances. Would like to see Rene get a bit more central at times, and also take some chances for himself occasionally - and be greedy, and make the keeper do some work. He's laid on some superb balls for others over the last couple of games, just think he needs to take some himself sometimes too.Steve wrote:FT
Sounds like a game of two halves. Happy with that though, handy point to have.

Agreed. The midfield diamond formation didn't work at all first half, but once JE changed back to 4-3-3 we dominated. Could have won the game second half, but then had a big let off in the final minutes when their no. 6 volleyed over the bar when in acres of space in our penalty area. Justice was done though as he shouldn't have even been on the pitch following his tackle on Johnson. The officials were dreadful again today.Dazzler wrote:Very much a game of 2 halves - first half we just looked disjointed and all over the place, but fair play Justin changed it early 2nd half, and we then took the game to Fleetwood, and had quite a few reasonable chances. We never beat Histon but the last three results against them say otherwise. We're due a result away at Forest Green and who says we can't get one?therushden wrote:we never do any good away at fgr. much like kiddy.
Show a bit of belief in the team and especially in the management. Last year should have driven that point home.
