Great result tonight, even tho i think we can play even better than that. Bath wern't a bad side, but offered little up front ( we all know how good Lee Phillips is)!
Yes should have been Gash, not just for the 4 goals but his general team play - but some excellent performances all round.
Bath came here tonight to win and if they had they would be above us in the table - couldn't believe their defence in the first half.
Keep playing like this then we're still in with a chance, especially as teams above us have played more than us.
And oh the ref - good first half but rubbish second. Stopped play on almost every physical challange in a clean game. How many of our players were booked? The BBC say 2 but I thought it was four..?

I think Jacko may have been the last hat-trick. But when was the last 4? Gash must be in an elite group with that. Collins probably?

Enjoyed tonight thoroughly. We were clinical (for once) and could honestly have had double figures. All goals were well worked and 2/3 were on a plate.

Thought the whole team did well but Charles and O'Connor were exceptional. Miller looked like he hadn't been away and it generally seemed to click tonight, helped by a Bath team that couldn't defend for toffee.

Looking forward to Saturday now! Hopefully tonights result puts a couple of hundred on the crowd.

Got a feeling either carl alford, mickey nuttell or dale watkins may have scored 4 goals in a game, i may be wrong though.

We all love Gash! :D

Yeah, the ref was random, several incidents that looked to be clearly our freekick or throw in and he gave them the other way including a throw in at the end that the lino gave to us and then the ref (clearly further away from it than the lino) overruled him!

But on a positive note, its really good to see them win again (last win I saw was early October!) and in style, some super crosses and moves leading up to the goals and we could have had more and I was impressed with Oshodi and Mills didn't look too bad either. Roll on Saturday and hopefully a four figure attendanc and I haven't completely given up hope for the playoffs just yet

The difference last night from recent weeks was our quality crosses into a striker who was there (where he should be - penalty spot to 6 yard box). Some great percentage balls played last night as well, when there wasn't another option. It was the best decision making I've seen by the players all season. Having said that I still think Power had a poor match, but he was more than made up for by Millsy. Our forwards attacking play was and movement was excellent, it reminded me of the great teams we used to have.
The new look back 4 all looked composed, and MILLER was superb. Even Osano had a good game at left back. I don't remember Joe Day having a serious save to make.

Day - 7, solid
Miller - 10, my joint MOM
Huke - 8, solid
Oshodi - 9, solid
Osano - 8, good effort
Porter - 8, worked hard
Mills - 8 , worked hard
Power - 5, not at the races
Charles - 8, geting better
Gash - 10, right place, right time, excellent finishing - joint MOM
O'Connor - 9, work rate superb right until the end

^^ What he said :D

At times last night I though we were sensational, overall it was a joy to watch, shame there weren't many there to see it - I never realised we had so many Chelski and ManUre fans at NP ;)

Gash did last night what I've been saying all along he would do for us if he got the right service, I feel vindicated in singing the lads praises these past weeks, you could see he had it in him, he just wasn't getting the ball in places where he could hurt the opposition - last night he did.

I though Bath were going to be a harder nut to crack than that, play the same on Saturday and we could end up with an even higher score......mind you, I think Bath's mindset was to come and try to win the game, Hayes will shut up shop and look to not lose it, so it will be a matter of how well we can break them down - not a strong point in our game.

However, get men down the wings, quality crosses in and feed Gash !!

Happy bunny today !! :D

The play-offs are within us - we need that BELIEVE banner back I think !! ;)
