People are getting a bit confused between claw-backs and covenants here. There is a different condition surrounding elements of the stadium to that which governs the remaining land. It is more likely the stadium would remain but the surrounding area be redeveloped (which KC also inherited from the "Trust")

Glad to see the opinion on here is generally against the c*nts who put their hands up, I expected it to be an almost resounding no to that question, I honestly though I must have misheard the question when so many put their hands up. I mean NP as a ground does mean a lot to me personally, it always has, its an absolutely fantastic little stadium and complex and we all have many great memories there, but at the end of the day the club RDFC is my main interest and I'm amazed anyone else would feel any different. What also angered me was the fact that while the phoenix club question did undoubtedly get more hands, there were still a few who refused to put their hands up

And on the subject of the Beasants, I realise we knew the majority of that story but it still astonishes me what utter c*nts they are having had it confirmed, pleased to hear we've reported them as that is totally disgraceful what they've done.

RIP RDFC, just pray we can figure out something for 2012, I can cope with a year with no club to watch and I can see now why there's been doubts over whether we can do it but we certainly have to give it a try despite the obvious problems facing us, and we'll need to contact the other fan owned clubs and Supporters Direct (provided it stays in business) for advice and support if we haven't already done so.

Its been a blast guys !! Thanks for the great times, the sad times and the wonderful friendships I have made as a result of my Diamond Years, that chapter is now firmly closed.

I can't be bothered to type a lot of what I'm thinking and feeling right now, the words won't come over right and I'll probably end up getting sued, but tonight's meeting was exactly what I expected.

I actually said to Bobos at 7.15pm "shall we leave now cos this meeting is all about seeing how many of us will watch the scum if we're gone". I support R&DFC, not Nene Park !! If there isn't a R&DFC side playing there then I'm not interested - end of !! I was sat in the front row and couldn't really gauge how many put their hands up to the "football at NP" question - but to hear it was about 40% of those present is gut wrenching !! I can understand why KC is so keen to see NP used, its in his interests to do so.

If I were a Northampton Town and K*ttering Town fan I would be very worried, there are dark forces at work and I can see a Northamptonshire United side being proposed in the non-too distant future - to hear NTFC were interested in NP was a bit of a surprise to me  although in truth, little now surprises me about the world of football, its rotten to the core.

I sadly can't commit the time to helping an AFC side get off the ground, my wife would divorce me if I spent any more evenings out sat around a Committee table (I work 3 evenings a week on average doing that !!) but I would be a willing worker ant for anyone who does try in a venture such as this and I would definately support an AFC side if one were launched.

I guess with everything thats happened this last few weeks I was prepared for tonight, but the actual knowing we're definately gone now is very sad, I feel empty sat here now typing this.

Do I believe everything I've heard tonight? Not really, our demise and K*ttering being installed was a done deal, K*ttering fans, if you think you have any chance of influencing the decision think again, you'll be playing at NP next season, any consultation Ladick is going through is a charade, your being sold down the river Nene.

There are probably enough of our fans and K*ttering fans who will sell out and make a decent number at NP (I use the word decent loosely) and they'll hope to pick up more floating fans once they change the name, which will happen within 2 years if I were a gambling man. It'll be a success in the end no doubt, but I'll have nowt to do with it.

I just hope we get to gather some of the memorabilia from around the ground together for when/if an AFC side gets created, its our heritage and it'll probably end up in a skip somewhere once Ladick gets his feet under the table. KC proved tonight he is a Nene Park man, not a Diamond.

We'll probably never get to know the truth of what really happened, I think what we've been told is a lot of smoke and mirrors, but the fact is we're gone and theres not a thing we can do to stop it from happening. My only hope is that the 2012/13 season sees an AFC side rising from the ashes, if there is, I'll be there.

I hope this messageboard stays open to enable those that are planning an AFC side have a method of communicating with us, especially as I'm out of the area.

Very good post Pigman, agree very much with your feelings.
I honestly think however if K*ttering come to Nene Park they will struggle to get viable attendances, unless Ladick puts on free busses like Max used to

Just to point out, NTFC were only interested in the training facilities i believe. Which makes sense as we need some, how it would have helped us financially i have no idea!

Sad, sad night! The Trust have got a lot 2 answer for but as angry as I am I'll take some wonderful memories away with me!

Is it true that Helen Thompson was there supporting the K*ttering cause?

Wouldn't it be ironic if the K*ttering fans forced Ladak to do a U turn so KC has no rent to play with! Alas its all a done deal + the Poppy fans need to know that!

Not so, as I understand it Cardoza was interested in owning the full facility, I spoke to an ex-Board member about that, his interest stems from a few years back too.......doesn't matter to me anyway now, but if I were you I'd be looking over my shoulder !!

Interesting turn of events! Wouldn't be a suprise, think he has looked down every avenue, also investigated MK aswell due to our council.

We'll never need to merge or anything, we'd have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

Anyhow, it isn't about NTFC tonight, I'll let you guys carry on.

The poll on their forum shows that just over half their support (on that messageboard anyway) would support ktfc at NP, so I'm guessing they'd average 500 home fans at NP, hardly viable.
