I imagine anything Starms said about Alfie was said tongue in cheek, and was simply dressing room 'banter' which the reporter tried to get as much mileage out of as possible, and blow up into something it quite clearly was not.

if you read it he actually says what a great player he is and he wants to improve him, and that he's training really hard...although Steve Walsh has just taken one comment and taken it out of context to make a headline!

Well thats a massive surprise NOT,
In the world of Newspapers, publication etc its all about the Headline which in most cases does not have alot to do with the actual arcticle.
Of course it has done what the editor wants, it has provoked your interest in the Newsletter.

They could have a headline saying they've seen plans for our new 40,000 all-seater stadium and I wouldn't pay the 40p to read it.

Is this an official publication sanctioned by the UCL committee?

I would imagine this publication will have lots of dramatic Diamonds headlines over the season as we have the most fans the editor will be targeting us to make his money.
Ignore the bloke and it will soon go kaput or revert to a freebie with 2 blokes a dog reading and pooing on it (the dog doing the pooing i might add) .

Isn't that the one that we will be ground sharing with Rushden & Higham with them paying 50% of the running costs?
