American football is an awesome game.

no it isn't. It's a ****ing boring several hour shite fest of meandering, mundane and moribund pointlessness in which multiple talentless Neanderthals accumulate 'yardage' by lining up against one another in the sporting equivilant of trench warfare.

I like American football and always enjoy staying up to watch the super bowl just for spectacle if anything, but I still find the 'special teams' that come on just for a kick a bizarre and the fact that one guy's only job is just to kick the ball straight :lol:

Though I have to say 'the sporting equivalent of trench warfare' is a very good description of american football :lol:

I stand corrected. I've only ever seen the specialist punter and goal kicker put foot to ball. So you are saying the Duke may have in fact kicked the ball in anger? Still think he was a mobile bollard.

I never kick a ball...........I played both ways..........oooer missus, both on Offense and Defence, I enjoyed defence more, because to could knock ten bales out of the opposition 8-)
