The injury to Elliot was a muscle tear between the 3rd and 4th quad in his thigh and so severe he was in hospital with a suspected blood clot. He was not to do any knee bending for 4 weeks and has had m.r.i. and cat scans to determine the dispersing of the blood and is now having hydro therapy to allow full use of the leg. He will then need to build up the muscle over a 3 to 4 week period and then get match-fit. He is a player who has been greatly missed and is gutted that he cannot play.

Wouldn't question anything else you've said, clearly a big loss and was a real asset to the club.
My only frustration this year was that at times he was too eager to hump it up-field.
However, agree it is a real shame.

It wasn't drink related from what ive heard. If what i have heard is true then whether or not he was a good player damn right he had to go.
And if what i heard is true then it has been leaked out through someone connected very closely with the club

apparently alot of local players know what happened due to it being revealed to ucl board?

He will be able to play at that level standing on his head and after a big session the night before! ;)
In all seriousness what a waste of talent! :|
