Have not been able to get to Wellingborough for the past few days. Has all the water gone yet and what state has it left the pitch? :?:

I went down to the D&D yesterday.

The bottom half of the pitch was still covered in water :? , but it has drained better than I expected.
I doubt very much if any games will be played on the pitch for another week, and if the cold spell comes as expected, then maybe not for a few more weeks.

It is very very saturated at the D&D, but not as bad as next door :?

If it freezes we could start an ice hockey team, I vote Bob as net minder, the opposition won't even be able to see the goal let along score in it

All water which is left is in the far corner of the pitch on the dugout side.

Its now all frozen and that area struggles to get the sun on it at the best of times.

We won,t be playing saturday in my view, were due to have a game on tuesday night??? but cant see that one either, no game the following sat at home as your away in your vase and were away as well. so hopefully the pitch will recover whilst not being played on.
