I'd have been delighted with a draw before the game, but with Bugbrooke leading for so long I can't help but feel a little disappointed now.

An Oadby defeat would have meant we could draw one game and still finish above them if they won all of theirs. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case, as their superior goal difference would take them back above us again.

Still, it's back in our own hands now - win every game and we're up, simples! :)

Amazing, wasn't sure whether we'd ever get to say 'its in our hands' but now we can, still 5 games left but win the next 4 and we've got a chance to be promoted on the 4th regardless of the results on the 7th, I wonder if we'll take over 1000 to Spencer :D :D

:D I must say I am surprised at the result. Pleased, but, surprised. I thought when they put the youth team out for the cup semi-final against St.Ives, they had a plan to storm the league matches and take top spot. I wonder if they regret not putting up a challenge in the cup.

A final word from my pitch side reporter:-

"They had no heart, no ideas and no legs. Us and Sileby. Two horse race."

You presume that they're going to win all of their remaining games, which isn't easy, considering they've got Harrowby away and a Saturday, Monday, Wednesday coming up. BELIEVE!
