There were at least twenty who made the trip up. A long way to go for a result like that
Yes and having been on gate duty I can confirm that almost everyone of them is a member of a very large London Colney committee  when so many people continuously berate the plight of non league clubs and the difficulties in survival, why is it that so many visiting fans :?: go to such lengths to avoid paying £6
Sat talking to some of the Colney players after the game, who were collectively working out the gate takings, they do maffs like Trek  550 x £8 :?: = over 4k half of that, at which point they started spending it. Explained that £8 is in fact £6 and almost 50% were concessions, conversation went a bit flat when I said we try to keep ground entry in line with goals scored

Thanks for correcting me, one of their officials told me before the match that they were only expecting five so if 20 turned up it exceeded his wildest expectations.

But I at least realise 20% is paid to HRMC in respect of VAT which you omitted to tell the Colney lads. ;)
You need to get your lad to give you a crash course on VAT obligations.
If you ask nicely I'll also show you how to use the 'quote' option on this message board. ;)

What`s the point of having an accountant in the family and still paying Tax, I`ve opted out of all payments and contact with HMRC

But Matt Ward wants to make sure that we don't follow the Cousins, Beasant and Ladick path. ;)

I thought last night was the best we've played at home in the last two years. Every single player played their part, only part I would disagree on was the MOTM.. it was Elliott Dent for me.
Although not taking anything away from Colney, they were a very good side, we were just better!

Could and should have been about 8 or 9!
Like has been mentioned, they would probably do better without a foul mouthed yob for a manager, who seemed to flop his arms about at every decision that went against his team!!!

Agree with all said, it was probably our best performance over 90 mins, done it for a half or so before but not a full game. If being hyper critical, and you would have to be to pick fault with last night for level 5 football. Crossy did fail to come for a couple of corners in the 6 yard box, though perhaps he knew something we didn`t as one time he did catch it he got wiped out & no free kick given :o Gearing was good & took both goals well, but would like to see him cover the ground as quick going backwards as he does attacking, (i`m possibly a bit over critical due to connections with the player who is sometimes left stranded with 2 opponents ) Elliot i`ve always rated and argued his case, though again hyper critical he tends to run and play the way he`s facing, needs to open up more & be aware of whats going on around him, got caught on the ball a couple of times & missed a few openings as best option was over his left shoulder. Though would have given him my MOTM.
Big JC looked a different player last night, Deaks just slotted back in as if he had not had an extended pre season holiday. Full backs looked solid and got forward as early as 24th second :!: Wizz was back on track as was Sean, Dunks did what Dunks does, and a bloody good job of it, and Alfie looks to be loving playing along side him. So overall 9/10 and all that with our leading goal scorer away in the sun, and finally the bench and beyond looks rather good as well.

Starms doesnt need to be match fit does he?
According to his twitter messages, he is not willing to take a place on the bench, won't consider playing for the U21 team and thinks No Start = No Interest. He sounds like a spoilt brat with his comments and as far as the team played last night, he is not needed.
We have enough midfielders to carry the club forward.
