great performance today, well worth the win. Could it have been different with 11 v 11, maybe but I don't care! Thought Brad was superb today. what i don't get with the Spalding set up is why not do anything with the ground, its a shit hole. Also 17 straight wins, top of the table clash and they only get about 150 home fans. I see this going only one way for them. nowhere after this year.

The opening line on the OWS sums today's performance up nicely I'd say, such a determined team today who got what they deserved, one particular moment in the first half sticks out for me, where one of their players was complacent with the ball mid pitch and Merrill went up to him and it was like he had in his head 'I'm getting this ball here' and through sheer determination he got it. Admittedly he messed up what could have been a pass that led to a 3rd goal, but it still summed up our performance today I thought and I'm looking forward to seeing Rayment's comments in the media :D

I saw absolutely nothing special in Spalding today. Even with 10 men, a team that's won 17/17 and scored 60 goals should of been more of a test to us - especially if you actually believed the hype their manager was spouting before the game

Cracking match, Radio Diamonds have cost me my blooming nails! Anyone got the link to the newspaper site where Payment spouted his nonsense? Printing that one off and sticking it in the album, right next to the match report! :D

Thought Pat's comments, especially given the date & anniversary, about us 'living in the past', went past unnecessary into downright unpleasant, and I'm glad we've given the bugger his just desserts.

I have only just noticed the heading of this thread is Spalding UnTIED, very apt certainly they were undone today. No way United. They were well and truly taken apart today. At no time did they look like a team with Championship aspirations. We have had harder matches against lesser teams.

That's not to take anything away from our performance today. Everyone was so "up for it".

The penalty/sending off was so clear cut. It was difficult to see what they could have complained about. Even before that incident Diamonds were so on top.

And the "best" defence in the league could not stop Bunting holding off three defenders.

This result today may give hope to Deeping and Huntingdon who have yet to play Spalding and open up the race a bit.

ps As Bunting walked back to the dressing room he had time to chat and joke with the fans.
" Honestly, I ' m not always getting injured"

10 wins on the bounce now(8UCL). Maybe we can challenge Spaldings record!!

Don't worry by Monday he'll be back trying to wind up the rest of the UCL clubs and their fans starting with Holbeach on Tuesday night.

Superb match, probably the best away match since the last day of last season. it was great to see us canter to a win against 11, and then 10, arrogant individuals. They are not a team, and they are a true representation of the tosspot they have as a manager.
When you have made comments about the opposition and things are affected on the pitch (the sending off) you should have enough belief to change things and be assured your team will serve you well. To sum it up, they all bottled it and showed their true colours, useless step 2 rejects.
He didn't change it, the players were a shambles and we ran them ragged.
We won and we deserved to win.

Squeaky bum time.

Can it be our "Sileby moment"?
Of course! Although they didn't play from recent tweets it appears that Huntingdon were pretty chuffed with the results last evening and this afternoon.
