Is anyone going who'll have a spare seat on the way back to Rushden? If I can get a lift back from Sixfields it'll be saving me upwards of £35!

Jack Bowen played for Cooks in the first round against Sileby, so that rules him out of next weeks match! If I bring my boots will I get a game up front.
In a career spanning 12 seasons I did once score two goals in a game, but only three in my whole Sunday League career...oh I forgot I may be too old now.

There are some interesting insights into the squad we might have for this game in the recent ET article - http://www.northantstelegraph.co.uk/spo ... -1-7328755 - which I think is based on the County Cup Rule which states "No player shall be allowed to play in a final tie unless he has already taken part in a previous round, or semi-final, unless special permission is granted by the County Cup Committee. "

I think that rule exists to prevent clubs from putting out weaker sides in the earlier rounds, and then fielding their first choice XI in the final. I'm sure we would be granted permission to include some of the U21s/U18s if we asked. We had a similar situation with the U18s when we played in the NSYL Championship Playoff, and the league were very helpful then.

Going by those rules we're going to be extremely limited!

4-5-1 with Stevo upfront on his own? Is Parsons eligible? Did Kennedy play in previous round?

Finners,

RB? Dolman - Ashton - Lee?

Hall - Harris - Quigz - Leslie - Hoban

-Stevo-

???

Guessing Lee might have played for Daventry. Wilkinson or Gordon could play for us presumably.

Leslie played for Cogenhoe in an earlier round. Shawn Richards is an option up front - he played for us in an earlier round, although Wilkinson didn't - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/201516-playe ... atch-stats Luke Hipwell would be a left back option as Jason Lee is cup-tied. Perhaps Charlie Butt might be brought in at right back, but he must be very short of match practice.
