In the Fulham/Spurs game the Spurs player was on the opposite side of the goal to the keeper so wasn't restricting the keepers view of the ball or stopping him from attempting a save. As others have said Yeovil's player was IMHO interfering with play and the goal should have been disallowed. All water under the bridge now though; time to move on.SCARECROW wrote:
The other week it was a premier team, The goal Huddlestone scored against Fulham was very similar, i do not think the player was quite in the goalkeepers line of vision as much as the Yeovil player was in Joe Day's, but again after referee consulting linno the goal stood.
