We've lost Stuart and Terry, our two best fighters and the core of our side. And you could say Downer was a secondary leader. We have two rookie young centre backs. Anyone who knows football knows as a Centre Back, mental attributes are as important as physical attributes. Concentration, desire, passion, the passion to lose your bollocks to save a goal. This all comes with experience. We don't have that with two loan youngsters sorry.

Only 7 points off relegation zone based on current scores. 11 (?) games without winning. You serious?

we've hit a new low tonight. If you lot were here you wouldn't believe what you were watching.
The two centre backs are diabolical, i said it from the moment i saw them. Send them both back, Gash too.
It's not a matter of effort, it's not dales death. It's ability. And this XI are void of any.

Then why the hell are Barnet in a relegation battle, and why is he just a coach there?

Oh come on Everyweeker, we're clearly in a relegation battle now. I agree with what's been said, 11 games without a win for anyone else and they'd be sacked. Problem is that we've just given JE a big, shiny, new contract. Now I still have faith in him but it's wearing very thin and with this result tonight I can't see where the win's coming from. Crowds will really start to dwindle soon which will impact on the players that JE can bring in. Tamworth in 11 days will be like watching a reserve match.
Ed: If this carries on until say February could anyone see JE resigning? He seems like a proud man, would he admit he's taken us as far as he can?

that wasn't fight, we just had a good team. esp. a good mid-field.
So you didn't see Stevenage at home then, or Oxford at home in the playoffs?
yup, i saw both those matches.
take stevenage as a team though. nowhere near as good as us last season, but they fought for everything and made themselves into winners. where as we usually played well for 45mins and beat the opposition, passing them off the pitch.
