Steve Beasant, at the Fans Forum, apparently said he preferred money in dribs and drabs throughout the season so he clearly isn't concerned about our fans not committing themselves to a large lump sum season ticket payment up front.
If Steve Beasant said that he's either an idiot or the club anticipates a large income from somewhere to see it through the summer. :?

That's what he said, I'm reliably informed although his view may have been influenced by the fact that when the they took over our Club in December all the advance season ticket money paid when KC was in charge had long been spent paying outstanding bills.
Whatever, the Beasant's game plan is it's crystal clear that any football club at our level needs cash to sustain themselves through the lean summer period.
