I just hope we get to gather some of the memorabilia from around the ground together for when/if an AFC side gets created, its our heritage and it'll probably end up in a skip somewhere once Ladick gets his feet under the table.

I've e-mailed support@saverdfc.com about this, stuff like Dale's shirts etc. need to be reclaimed, we can't let all the memories go to waste.

Well, if KC has an ounce of decency in him he'll pass it over, I'll store it in my garage if thers nowhere else, until we can do something with it.......like display it all on the walls of "R&D 2012 FC's" new clubhouse ;)

As soon as KC winds us up I guess (I just presume he'll add his name to the list of winding up creditors and we'll get shafted in Court in a fortnights time), so he can have his own "forensic accountants" go over the books :lol:

So a huge chunk of my life is taken away. I couldn't make tonight - if I'm completely honest starting in January I've been losing passion for RDFC. Something changed for me, it didn't feel like my club I'd supported as a kid growing up.

I look back on the 14 years supporting RDFC fondly. My first game was Bilston Town at home. The first game I remember was St.Albans at home in a roof-less AirWair, that band they had playing sure was fantastic. Leeds United away - I still remember spilling my Coke on some elderly man when I was celebrating Heggsys jammiest goal of all time! My last game was Kidderminster Harriers at home. By the time the new Pheonix club starts up, I'll be off at Uni but will continue to overview events when home.

RDFC in it's time it really was fantastic. The best birthday presents I had as a young kid were mascot packages. First one I remember being upset because my favourite player Darren Collins was suspended for the game I picked. And the second one I remember bringing all my mates along to watch us have a thriller with Hull City. Fair to say 'bringing all my mates' along was pretty hard past that season.

For me, League Two was the start of my real stage of supporting RDFC. The season we stayed up was fantastic, but then the season we went down I loved aswell. All those stupid stupid conceded late goals, we really were a bunch of muppets at the back. Never never learnt. I remember being at Lincoln & Rochdale (h) especially, but I know there was about ten that season.

The Conference years were just ridiculous. Every start of the season there was so much hope, but nothing ever happened. And the one year where we didn't actually have enough to go up, we gave everything. Oxford away was so depressing.

I'll miss the Diamond Burgers - so much.

So a journey that RDFC's taken me on finishes. Starting in the Airwair, going into the Family Enclosure, going to Italy, Denmark, Germany, Holland whilst travelling round the UK, and ending up in the DeBanke finishes.

Thanks for the memories RDFC. I doubt I'll support another club properly again unless I have a little lad along the line.

I should be sleeping but can't. There was a lot about tonight that sickened me, but I'm glad I made the effort to go. Tonight I said my goodbyes to the club. Even if a phoenix club is formed, whilst I'll follow it from afar, I doubt very much that I would spend the money on fuel to go and support it.

I can fully understand KC wanting a tenant in Nene Park - but expecting us to support another club in 'our' ground is ridiculous. It is RDFC we support, not Nene Park.

I'll finish by copying and pasting what I put on someone's Facebook status tonight: It's more than a football club - it's the friendships, the banter, the community spirit, the feeling of belonging to something. Even tho I was intending to go less next season, I hate the way it's been taken away from us. I'll miss it all - even having sweets thrown at me at half-time!

I started with a season ticket for the 2002/03 but since I was in the North Stand I don't really consider it as a part of the time I spent as a fan. Since then I've spent every season on the terrace and seen some painful moments; seeing all those players leave on that day in March before getting relegated, the constant late goals in 2006 that saw us down (arghhh Rochdale!) and the turgid 2 years that seemed like a lifetime watching Garry Hill's 'football'. However, I also felt privileged to see some utterly wonderful moments like the Setanta Shield Final, the play-off games against Oxford and the whole of the 09/10 season, the Cobblers game and nearly every one of the K*ttering games. The sudden feeling of not having anywhere to go on a Saturday is hitting me and it's just weird and depressing, not ever being able to climb those steps up to the back of the terrace. Everyone needs to do their bit for AFC R&D because I can't be the only one that can't imagine going to another club.

I'm glad that the last game I got to see was a win and when I think back to it, the final whistle went and so many on the terrace stayed for a long time, I think many of us knew in our hearts what was coming. I'm wondering now if some kind of special DVD could be made because there must be a video archive at the Club of quite a lot of our games.
