Im so glad we won that game, fully deserved.

Whitworths were a dirty side, and that group of whitworth "fans" weren't there to support their team, could have turned ugly.

I did wonder whether anything would happen, especially when both sets of fans occupied the PDB in extra time, thankfully it was only a vocal battle and nothing more, but yeah I don't recall them singing a single song in support of their team, it was all just abuse towards us, few chants were funny but by the end it was mostly disgusting, juvenile rubbish.

I think you'll find most of them were there reserves players and i'm absolutly disgusted with there behaviour and if anyone tries to turn any of it on our fans like saturday, After 16 years i'll consider not coming again deep down were all Afc R&D fans and we should stick together.

I hope Ash has thick skin, the abuse directed at him was shocking. I'm all for banter, but that crossed the line.

It's a shame we're talking about off-field issues again here, but this time at least the home fans can't be (wrongly) implicated in any way. The Diamonds fans in the DeBanke in extra-time inparticular deserve massive praise for not rising to some pretty vile bait.

I think there's a lesson to be learnt tonight re: possible segregation of fans. I thought - like everybody else I assume - that these games would go off incident-free but some of the things I saw/heard tonight crossed the line for me, and i'm not talking about the home support. This was a wake-up call.

I suspect it was probably a little embarrassing given the 'Just A Game?' initiative being launched tonight co-incided with sexual related chanting almost non-stop for the last 75 minutes.

You mean shit calls like not sending their number 9 off for karate kicking our guy in the chest after we scored the 4th goal!!!!!!

Of course we play them again in a week and a half's time, will it be exactly the same I wonder? Problem is, segregation of 15 people probably isn't possible and I assume we'd have to bring in and pay stewards to enforce that or sort out any trouble being caused.

And that facebook comment is ridiculous, how can 'did you shag your sister' or 'she takes it up the arse' be 'class' support?! And I didn't think there were any particularly bad calls from the ref, it was just Whitworths were dirty and very disrespectful to the ref, one player when called over by the ref just childishly replied 'I'm not talking to you ref', and got himself booked :roll:
