We were the better side and probably should have won more comfortably but we were made to work for it by a Spencer side who were solid and unspectacular.

Thought Harris (new signing from Desborough, Olly) looked really good, composed and comfortable with the ball at his feet, but i'm not sure about that formation going forward, i'd like to think it was a case of needs must with no Merrill, Gillingwater or Dent. Lance Allen was outstanding and probably deserved MOM.

Thought it looked like more than 584 there.

Great result against a team in great form, bring on Oadby, can't wait, will be interesting, first time we've played a team above us in the league if I'm not mistaken! Not the best performance we'll see this season, especially in the first half where we were sloppy with the ball going forward but they did the job well in the end. Just hope Alfie Taylor can get back to form on Saturday, he hasn't been his usual self since he returned.

And 583 there today, 11 more than at Corby, not bad for a hastily rearranged game (though i agree BR, thought it was 600+ tbh) :D
