Fantastic strength of character to come back from 2-1 down, tremendous !! Gilly deserves hell of a lot of credit for his performance between the sticks, he can be immensely proud of himself - so, an unhappy dressing room? Players unhappy? Not a bit of it and the performance with 10 men and the end result says it all !!
Our new signings showed lots of promise and will only improve as they get match fit and to know their team mates - the next couple of months look really exciting.
Had a horrendous journey home with traffic etc, only got home a while ago - but made very bearable by the performance and the result - I'm well happy tonight
Next round? Ashington at home please - and can they bring a few trays of those pies please (not even looked if they're in it still ;) )
Seriously, anyone at home !! I'll be happy !!

Regarding the parky and opposition manager situation it all came about due to the following. Merril went down injured and their manager was going balastic saying that their player had just been booked for similar. He was saying that Merill was faking the injury. Parky had walked over saying to the manager to calm down only to be hit with comments like "dont tell me to calm down you dickhead". The manager was having a right go. fast forward to extra time and a nice headed goal and cue parkys celebration. say no more. Additionally i thought that Bunting was pure class. a player at this level with such a touch, vision, ability and happy to mix it is a great addition. unfit????? i would like to be that unfit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I agree, I thought he was outstanding yesterday. Seemed to tire a bit as the game went on, but a really promising debut and you could just tell that he has that bit of extra class.
I also thought Lingy looked very good when he came on, and for a winger, he likes a tackle! Someone who has seen Lingy play a few times in the past said to me that he is like Wizz, but with a bit more ability! No disrespect to Wizz at all, who I was a big fan of, but that sounds very encouraging!

So who do we get in next round? A home draw would be nice, something of a rarity for us.
Personally if we are away, let it be Eastbourne United. But I don't think we will be included in that region.
If the draw is on a straight North and South then we will clearly be in the North section, which has some of the strongest teams, including Spalding and Tividale with 100% records and the Northern League contingent who regularly win this competition.
If it is still regional then I think we will be in an area covering counties to the south and east.
Which would be Spartan League, Essex or Eastern Counties.
There are only 12 teams remaining from Step 6 and one from Step 7 (AFC Mansfield)
Throughout the country there are 9 or 10 teams that are currently top of their respective leagues.
So roll on Monday for the draw and all the speculation can end.

Last year, to my surprise, the draw was straight north/south regionalised.
I too am hoping for a home draw, and a chance to earn a bye to the second round next season!
