I notice the letter has reached the UCL Facebook page. The less said about some of the comments on there the better.

It's been said before and I'll say it again. I don't know why anyone reads that UCL Facebook page. Just block it and save yourself the bother and annoyance!

When I want the opinion of a cock I'll ask. I'll read whatever I choose to read. It doesn't bother me that they dislike you. Neither does it annoy me.

Who do they expect to play on the football facility. One of those goals 5 a side would be best.

It's OK false alarm, if you read the covering letter the proposal is for a simular site in Rushton

I suppose they think they are being clever to get over the 'covenant issue' on the main stadium pitch by replacing it and retaining Pitch 3. Zero thought given to this proposal as no changing facilities available now in the Sports & Exhibition Centre.

It looks like the familiar set of buzz words and phrases designed to make people think its an interlinked package of attractive facilities, only to then find that the money making parts are implemented and the costly features that would benefit the community are quietly forgotten.
The "improved car parking for the Town Centre" and "improved pedestrian access to the Town Centre" in particular look like standard offerings without an assessment of practicality.

Actually I think at first glance this looks interesting. Surely the fack that a smaller football facility is being considered with consideration paid to the past history of R&D is potentially something that we could be involved in, albeit we might need to influence the final plan to suit us?

Can't see them prepared to allocate more land to enable facilities to be provided for even a Step 6 club. Even park teams need basic changing facilities.
