"A WILLIAM HILL telephone betting customer who staked a record 500,000 euros on Germany to beat Spain has lost his wager - the largest World Cup bet ever.

'Not only did the 500,000 euro bet lose, but so did the 100,000 and 80,000 euro bets on Germany to win the tournament, and another 75,000 euro wager on them to get past Spain' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe."

there were around 40 separate bets. The England team really did F*** me up. But who cares, £2k was nice, plus the winning and some losing was really great fun.

If England had WON, the pot could have gone up a tad :lol: :lol: ........... by £20K :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
