Not like you to be so negative. ;)
What's to be positive about?

Agreed. I think Mills
could be what we need in there. He'll get stuck into people, wind them up (as happened with Tomlin).
At least give him a chance before you write him off.

I think we need someone to toughen up the middle, 29 with bags of experience? Not the best player but this is the conference.
Decent signing IMO.

From what I remember, Mills flew into a tackle 2 footed which angered the RDFC player that saw the tackle so the few players that were around the tackle, Mills reacted angerly to some of the RDFC Players laying into him, Mills team mates started to square up to our players so Tomlin decided to run the length of the pitch and punched one of there players, Mills got Red for the tackle, Tomlin for the punch
Correct me if Im wrong

:? You couldn't be more wrong! Mills committed a dreadful two footed foul on Tomlin, who had run rings around the Mansfield defence for the opening half hour, Tommo squared up to Mills but didn't actually touch him, and Mills then headbutted Tommo in the chest. Mills was sent off either for the foul or the headbutt (he should have been sent off twice) and Tomlin also saw red (very harshly) for his reaction.
The match report is
HERE.
Mal caught the headbutting incident perfectly.

It's more of a mouth butt than a head butt.

Dave is spot on with his view of the Mills / Tomlin incident. If ever there was proof needed of how much an impact Lee Tomlin made on the team it was that game - we were totally dominant until the two teams went down to 10 men, but were a bit lucky to scrape a late winner after the dismissals levelled things up.

Then the two players concerned sat and watched the rest of the game together, laughing and joking with each other. At least Millsy will give 100% effort and his cheerful nature may be just the tonic our team needs at the moment.
