I accept that my remark was in bad taste but in no way was it directly aimed at Gill, Cloverdale or any other creditor. It just summed up my anger at the way our club has been allowed to decline, not just through the Beasants but over the last couple of years. (The religiuous references were on another thread where there was confusion addressing the fans' chaplain as vicar, etc.) I hope all creditors eventually see at least some return of their generous loans/extended credit but wonder how things have deteriorated so badly, so quickly. I am not a creditor myself or in any other way connected than as a supporter but I am annoyed that the present owners seem determined to let things slide so meekly. We have good support, even in small numbers, as the recent programme production shows. If the owners had explained the situation, and outlined what, if anything, they were trying to do, then some of the creditors might have been prepared to wait a little longer. As it is they have had little option than to use the law which will only precipitate matters more quickly. I hope a positive outcome is there somewhere, but I remain sceptical.
