Hopefully we can have the link everywhere and watch it grow, if 250,000 do £1, or 25,000 do £10 or 2,500 do a £100 it works everyway.
Hope you're right, just donated £10 and hopefully will get family to donate more later.

That gives me an idea - remember the campaign Weymouth did where they sold space on a webpage to businesses / people. If there was a page with 25,000 squares at £10 per square people could donate what they wanted and advertise at the same time. It certainly helped out Weymouth. I volunteer to try my very best to code this (nicely) if people think it's a good idea, but I warn you my web coding sux so another volunteer may be helpful.

We could give it a tag-line like the 25,000 saviours of Rushden. Everyone who donates gets an (emailed) certificate to say that they are a saviour of Rushden etc. etc. - really make a big deal out of it.

Great idea!!! I was going to suggest selling advertising space on the website as hopefully there will be a lot of activity on there.....sadly I have no experience of setting it up thought

Yep, that's pixel advertising, an idea that I posted on the other thread but no one seemed interested. Was told by a Weymouth fan that they raised £10k from it so it would be worth doing, if we could get it up and running.

They did a thing where the badge of each person's favourite club was displayed as a pixel and the more people that donated the bigger the club badge got, so a little competition could even form if we can get it out to lots of people.
