i thought the result was probably about right, it took us a while to get going. I personally don't like their style of football, it is very physical, but hey it's effective and they are very good at it so you can't take anything away from them. Their second goal was an absolute belter and deserved to win the game. They got to the 1/4 finals last season so it's obviously a bit of silverware they take seriously, as they brought Sproughton and Jarvis back into the team.
I thought though our lads were brilliant, great to see Bondy, Mcdonald and Bryant all get their senior debuts. I also thought O Grady did ok, and Gillingwater had his best game for us so far. Ash had another decent game in goal as well.
If anyone is interested our U18 are playing at Whitworths on tuesday night!

I'm sick of Flourmen...........why do they think that we are rivals? 8-)
If that is what they get off on, then fair play, however, I think next week"s game is more important to be honest

I don't normally comment on other clubs forums but really some of your comments are not necessary? It was an entertaining game and yes maybe the celebration was over the top, but to suggest reporting Judgy as there were kids in the stand it a little silly as you may as well also check your fans constant swearing is also much the same. And you are quick enough to condem the support of whitworths in the last game but it must have been better than being in the crowd today with no atmosphere? and as someone who is probably a fan suggesting the management team have only got 1 brain cell between them does not make you as white as you paint the picture. I wish you all the best for the season but to be fair its football and football banter, im sure your fans were much the same at nene park, maybe you should check youtube for some of your fans behaviour. Good Luck

Firstly I think you should get Sarge to teach you some proper English and secondly, when did showing your backside to the opposition's fans ever be construed as "over the top"?? Imagine if Wayne Rooney or Joey Barton did that :?

Thanks for your input Dean. No doubt the actions of your players will be brought to some kind of internal disciplinary action? I mean, in the game last week, one of those players physically assaulted one of ours on the pitch in front of our home supporters, which I'm sure you'd agree has no place in football, it's on the youtube video if you want to see it? Also regards the mooning incident, any complaints can be made by paying members of the public for the indecent exposure your player committed. A complaint which would not necessarily come from our club itself, perhaps (considering we record every game on AFCRDTV) your players should remember this ? I'd say both those incidents were hardly good sporting behaviour nor respectful of our club. So far I'd say our club & fans have generally conducted themselves well as the lack of chanting at yesterdays game showed, despite your protestations about swearing - which can be hurtful rather than harmful. Our club has tried hard to encourage our fans to think before they chant and that was our response yesterday carrying on from the first game against you. Not forgetting that we (the fans) really didn't consider the competition as important as the league.
We thank you for your contribution to the DRM fund, but we really find it hard to consider you our "rivals" considering there's no history between us. I'd say that's better for you if you consider what potentially "could" happen should we attract our full support and if your players were to get them agitated with their antics on the pitch (not forgetting a few drunken ones off of it). All we ask is for your help in achieving this, don't forget that YOU are responsible for stewarding your home game against us. We've already donated £150 towards the loss of your clubhouse, don't put off the chance to encourage a good R & D turnout which could further help put money in your coffers towards any potential re-build.

Swearing is a part of football from the premier league to the UCL.
I'm sure most kids know not to the copy the language they hear in the stands. I've been watching R&D for 20 years and heard lots of colourful language, but it didn't affect me.
Funny that coachdean complains about our swearing when the Whitworths fans were far worse in the UCL KO Cup.

Please read my post correctly and you will see i didn't complain about the swearing just pointing out football has these elements which you will never get rid of. I agree there was swearing from our fans in the previous game. All i was saying you will get this at every football game across the country. There are many good people at Whitworth's FC who like yourselves do a lot of hard work and they put in a lot of time and effort, but they cant control everyones opinion or actions.
