The thing i think we have to get from these games is the positive point that no club has outplayed us , on other days we would thump both BPW and Bugbrooke, we just have to turn all our possession and chances into goals

383 attendance? I knew there'd be a drop from Saturday's crowd of course and with CL on tv but that's more of a drop than I expected (nearly 50% drop), only 14 more than we got for a league cup game, so have to say that's a bit disappointing, hope people haven't lost interest already.

Decent game, and probably a fair result overall, although we were unlucky not to win
BugBrooke were by far the best side we've played this season.
Laughs were had with the guy on the mega-phone, this HAS to be regular thing!!

All sides will drop points throughout the season and we're no different. For me the positives are we're creating chances, loads of them - we just need to stick them in the net !!!
Looking at the highlights of Saturday's match clearly shows we were the better side and created far more chances (sure they created chances too, but we did create far more !!). The down side is we're not converting them into goals and we're leaking a few silly ones at the same time.
On another night we'd have scored more tonight - I didn't see the goal we conceded as I was busy, but I heard it was a soft one.
Having been out on the pitch at half time I must say its not in great shape (albeit better than I thought it would be) and I fear that many of our better performances may be away from home where many of the pitches will be better - next season that will change !!
We're still third in the table and undefeated, in fact only us, Oadby and Eynesbury (Saturday's opponents) have yet to lose in the league this season - something is going to have to give at the weekend eh? With some St Neots fans planning on coming along it could be a good gate - so jump in the car and get over there on Saturday !! Should be exciting !!

A horrid damp night, the threat of fog, CL on the telly, I was well pleased with 383 to be honest, especially on a work night - before KO I'd said we'd do well to get 300 or so !! Of course we want more, but the reality is midweek games don't pull in as many - this fixture should have been a Saturday one remember, before it was switched for "safety" reasons :evil:Olly wrote:383 attendance? Re: [ Tue 23rd Oct ] v Bugbrooke St Michaels KO 7:45pm HOME
On Saturday's we get a lot of youngsters come along, last night there were hardly any, which is understandable as it's a school night, that will impact on the attendance along with it being a dog of a night and CL on the telly.
I thought Bugbrooke were the best team we have played so far. The goal was a poor one to concede, but it was good to see that we didn't make the same mistake from a similar position a couple of minutes later.
After the first ten-twenty minutes, we did well to keep it down to 0-1 at half-time. The second half was a different story and even having one second ball drop to us could have made the difference.
