Foggy head (i blame the manflu) , why did I type that? I knew it was last week
Still doesn't alter the fact I'd hoped they'd take points off them

I thought a draw was probably a fair result, although I didn't think we deserved to lose.
I was surprised by Sileby's time-wasting tactics in the second half, especially the 'injuries' so it was a bit galling to concede the equaliser when the only real injury was to Quincy

I didn't like the way they were that extra bit physical they tried to bully us a bit and the constant harranging of the referee was poor too, but hey they are top of the league.
I am amazed though that no one has taken more points off them this season though.

You only have to look at the standard of the rest of the league to see why. Top 4 aside, Harrowby and Bugbrooke are alright, but beyond that....bozzer wrote:I didn't like the way they were that extra bit physical they tried to bully us a bit and the constant harranging of the referee was poor too, but hey they are top of the league.

It's a ridiculous league in the sense that it's not competitive and totally predictable, with the exception of the top 4 when they're playing each other. At least in the BSP/L2 etc there was a decent chance teams would slip up somewhere. I've got no faith in any mid-table or bottom half side taking anything off Sileby/Oadby. They all just rollover and have their tummies tickled.

I think this season in the Div 1 we are one of 4 UCL Prem standard teams playing in Div 1, just a shame only two can go up.BartonRaz wrote:You only have to look at the standard of the rest of the league to see why. Which makes our dropped points against Wootton and BPW all the more galling.BartonRaz wrote:You only have to look at the standard of the rest of the league to see why. Top 4 aside, Harrowby and Bugbrooke are alright, but beyond that....

I think we really missed Séan especially first half, Silebys midfield were winning the second ball all to often and had to much time on the ball. Last night i was gutted that we conceded so late and was feeling like our chances were over, but having slept on it i'm still hopeful, although as Bartonraz has said having to rely on someone/anyone getting a result or two against Sileby or Oadby doesn't fill me with much confidence but we'll just have to wait and see and keep winning our games!!

Just want to echo what people have said really, a point shared was probably the fairest of results...Great to see that in the second half, the lads came out with a bit more pace and fire power to go for the goals...
Felt really nervous when ash came on to be honest...My heart was in my mouth everytime they went towards the area...Does anyone know quinceys injury situation? Got a couple of massive games coming up with potential banana skins in there, just hope ash is ready for it...
