Don't quote me on this but I think he's had a heart problem, spent quite a few months out, if that's the case I really hope he makes a good recovery, even if it means sadly he won't play for us again.

Thought it was an assured, and pretty comfortable victory for us yesterday. Apart from the first 20 minytes or so, where I thought Raunds were actualy knocking the ball about fairly well, we dominated all areas of the pitch. As has already been mentioned, the shuffled back four all performed well, especially Gilly, who excelled throughout, and Brad in the first half.

Kingy also had a great game imo, especially in the second half. Made some great forward runs, and sprayed the ball around nicely as well.

Would just like to say how lovely it felt with the sun at my back (it's been a while!), behind the goal in the secnd half, surrounded by hundreds of fellow fans, moving a step closer to promotion. The score updates from R&H were also quite nice... :D :D :D
'...Wardley again.... Now Butterworth trying to provide some inspiration; What will the response be from Rushden??? IT'S A GOAL FROM ONANDI LOWE!!!!.... Third Division POSF 2nd leg; Rochdale 1 Rushden & Diamonds 2 Tuesday 30th April 2002

Please don't speculate on things like this. We know Aaron had health issues because he said so on camera. If he wants to say anymore he will do, until then let's just keep it at that.

I thought the ref was average at best. I was worried in the first half when one of the Raunds players made a legitimate challenge for the ball, which was a foul but nothing malicious. Our friend then marched over to the corner and waited until the Raunds player was twenty yards away before calling him back. Totally unnecessary and making it all about the ref again.

If we never have him ref one of our games again then it will still be too soon.

!00% agree we should never comment on health issues although lets also never forget this is a forum and not the club website so speculation will always happen.

Tax dodge
don't think after the official count was given this comment should be aired.saying a club that helped in the early stages of AFC DIAMONDS are tax dodgers could result in slander.

Firstly if you had been there it was obvious to most people there that there were 500 plus in the ground, secondly i would wonder if Raunds ( who did a great job looking after us on Saturday) , ever get near to problems with tax in its various forms
