Indeed, not a great performance by any means, but we left with a home replay we know we can win and improve our performances, so I wasn't too dissatisfied leaving the ground, we're in the draw for the next round tomorrow (I assume its tomorrow?), so that's what's important, its results that count in the cup.
Whilst you are of course correct, I think the similarity of yesterday's performance to that at London Colney (and to some extent the second period of extra time at Dunstable) makes us look very vulnerable to defeat by other Step 5 teams - and perhaps makes a run in the FA Vase look less likely.

I thought Dunkely picked up a yellow for gobbing off, despite a couple of warnings

I'll have to check on that - he was certainly pulled aside for a word by the ref.

Not a graet day. Price hike on arrival, the team looked disjointed, especially at the back. Cockfosters were not very good at all and we made hard work of a game we should have won, and we are counting ourselves lucky at the end, not to have lost. The team hasn't gelled totally for a couple of games, perhaps too many changes from a winning formula have been made, Deakin has looked out of sorts for the last 2 games and it would be worrying if we played against a more potent strike force. I don't want to be too negative, but, we should be carving out comfortable victories against teams like Cockfosters, Dunstable and the likes, at the first attempt.
I hope the management opt for the proven starting 11 for the replay and the team responds with a convincing, match winning performance.
Back to the D&D under the floodlights on a Tuesday. Creatures of habit.

how can you say the team haven't played well for a couple of games, last tuesday was the best we have ever played I thought.

We weren't at our best and we know that, but to be fair if the players played as well as they did on tuesday every week they probably wouldn't be playing at this level.

I am sure we can finish the job on tuesday.

Jon's right. We didn't play as well as we have done but we have played exceptionally well recently.

Don't underestimate the state of that pitch, I have seen sheep on better surfaces than that, plus the huge amount of rain London had on Friday made it really heavy.

It was a dreadful pitch made worst by Friday's rain. Very boggy alongside the main road and very bumpy. Every time the ball was played on the ground it bobbled and made the Dog and Duck look like Wembley.

Very good point it's nice when we play to our full pretential but if the present squad were doing it every week where would they be playing their football :?: not at the D&D  every time we win its because we should do & the opposition are garbage, if we don't win it's never because the other team were any good but because we played crap  London Colney away was the worst we have ever played when we beat them 6-1 at home it was because they didn't turn up, well said London Colney beat Hanwell Town
2-1 yesterday who prior to that had won 8 from 8 goals for 30 against 6 :o presume that doesn't mean Colney are a half decent side who were taken apart by us in an exceptional performance :?: but the SML Premier division is a poor standard full of crap teams we should hammer as & when we ever play them

Nice one Brownie 8-)

We do put ourselves under pressure, we won't win every game 4-0, if we did, all the players would now be in the Conference Premier.
Our players have raised their game to try and please the fans, but whatever they do, they can't win, come on people, be a bit more realistic, we are playing in the UCL Premier division, not league 1 8-)

Give the lads a break, get behind them on tuesday, cheers them on, for heavens sake :o
