Bedworth 2 Barton 0

So that leaves our Southern League status for next season still in doubt.

Some really interesting things you can see on that map. Not hard to see why Northern League sides tend to stay at Step 5 rather than opt for promotion - look at Spennymoor! Talk about being out on a limb, it couldn't get much worse.

Not sure how/why Godalming are in the Southern League when there seem to be numerous better alternatives such as Ware or Walton Casuals.

I see Aylesbury United will be groundsharing with Thame United next season. That'll be a good ground to visit if we're in the Southern League.

I get interested in all of this. I'm also very surprised to see that Godalming are in the Southern Central league, you have to go past a whole load of Ryman club teams (London) to get to them.

Banbury United are more of a Central league team than Godalming, it would make more sense for Banbury United to be in the Central League and Godalming to be in the South West league.

The FAs leagues committee meets on Thursday, so at least we will find out soon which league we've been placed in (provisionally!) soon.

Barton Rovers have tweeted the SL1C lineup - which includes AFCRD.

Not sure if this sort of thing would affect us - probably not - but Clevedon Town in the Southern League Div One S&W have been demoted for failing ground grading.

I doubt it would affect us although I suppose it could potentially mean a change in our opponents, Maybe Aylesbury United sent into the southwest with the central getting an Isthmian League side :?:
If a northern side drop down before the AGM, that would be bad news.
