Another manager on the slide. If he had been any good then he would have got another managerial position in the Championship. Two wins in his last 14 games for Colchester and just one win in his last 16 games for Coventry. Says it all really. Should continue this form for the Wobbs to ensure that they will be in the BSP next season. ;)

Which is my main cause of shock, I know his career is on the slide apart from Watford but he can't be cheap.

Was interesting to listen to him on the 5live show Moneyball last week, talking about his beliefs and how he's probably never been given the time for his particular style of management to bear fruit.

I'm not sure the Wobbs need long termism right now, surely what they need is a quick fix?

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

I went to school there, my abiding memory of K*ttering is the typical weekend night out with chubby girls wearing very little and rat faced young men asking “what are you looking at” as they menacingly chug back a blue WKD. Say what you like about London but I would rather live in a shoe box in Lewisham than stay in K*ttering
Hahahahahahaha!!!!!

The "restaurant quarter", which the Conservative council keep trying to glamourise, is a terrace made up of two kebab shops (one of which opened without planning permission and a burger/fried chicken shop. To get a true impression of the town you only need read the local Evening Telegraph comments, in whose pages the locals' despair of the town is surpassed only by their irrational loathing of nearby Corby. It's essentially an amalgam of "Poundshops" and mobile phone sellers. The only thing local people seem to be looking forward to is the construction of a £50m retail park at Rushden some 12 miles down the A6, which will almost certainly be the final nail in the K*ttering coffin.

It gets even better, just read the comments at the bottom of this article, which seem to mirror the comments made in the Guardian article. :D
