Apparently it was supposed to be pay day today and it was reported that if there was no pay in the players bank accounts they would not turn up for training and probably not play tomorrow night.

Nice article on TwoHundredPercent and very nice of that Telford fan to show a bit of solidarity, assuming it was a Telford fan and not one of our lot stirring things up, either way, good job!

Not surprised, Telford don't really like K*ttering...wasn't there some big bust up in the town centre after a game a couple of years ago?

The Cobblers own Sixfields, so won't be hoofed out. They did enquire about Nene park as a Training Centre and a base for the Centre of Excellence. A base for the Rugby League club is possible though.[/quote]

Cobblers don't own Sixfields, it's owned by the council, that's one of the reasons they cannot redevelop it. They do have a very long lease on it though, I think I read it was for 125 years.

Correct.

I stand corrected, the lease is long at 150 years and does allow for redevelopment, as long as planning permission is granted

I'm with Pigman on this, I'm not going to get excited about them going tits up just yet... I guess we'll find out if Sadact is blowing smoke up everyone's ass in regards to these two investors he mentions on the front of the E.T today.

But if they do I'll have a few pints down the pub, knowing 'Project Nene Park' fell flat on its face.

Like others have said if they had stayed at Rockinghorse Road, I couldn't have cared less, but since they moved into Nene Park, whilst seemingly dancing on on our grave.. I only hope they suffer the same fate.
