Re: R.I.P Dale Roberts
I was hoping to sign onto your forum to send my thoughts to all at the club about the sad passing of Dale Roberts from all Wrexham fans.
Personally I have always had a "soft spot" for R & D since a wonderful day out at Nene Park when we drew 2-2 in League Two. Lovely ground, fab suporters.
Following your results and match reports sicnce, it was always clear just how good Dale was and how highly regarded he was by everyone - Rushden as well as other sides, supporters and officials.
My condolances to you all - and Dale's family and friends - on behalf of Wrexham fans.

Sincerest codolences to the family, friends, team mates, fans and everyone at Rushden and Damonds for your sad loss. It is tragic to lose someone so young and with his whole life ahead of him, however they do not die when those who love remember.

Re: R.I.P Dale Roberts
What awful news.
Dale will always be remembered at Nene Park, not just for his performances on the pitch, but also for how well he got on with the Diamonds fans, and for his personality, enthusiasm and dedication.
The game I remember the most was when we beat Stevenage last season, and as well as keeping a clean sheet against the champions-elect, he ran to the half-way line to celebrate the late winner with the rest of the players.
A real team-player who will be sadly missed.
